From the early years of its creation TAT-Théart' (on 1980, then TAT-Théâtre Action Tréteaux) was interested in the writing: adaptation of literary texts, creating texts around myths from different cultures,...and had the concern to integrate its shows in a series of activities with the public, youth and adults with workshops, training courses, debates, round tables...
Over time these working axes while evolving always remained present. For more than ten years the particular work on language led by Anne Petit developed and modulated during various creations: Ancient tragedy, Racinian tragedy and contemporary authors. She worked on diverse occasions on the mixture of the languages at the spoken and musical level.
Regularly theatre workshops (with AFDAS most of the time in France) were performed for professional actors and for children and young people in trouble school(work on reading and creating texts from introductory courses in theatrical expression). Public readings have giving birth to a "special form" of show: the Récital de textes combining words, music and song.
Since its creation T.A.T. worked with different structures Centres Dramatiques Nationaux (Besançon, Bordeaux ..), Festivals (Avignon off, Sarlat, Carthage ...), theatres in Paris and surroundings, Cultural Centers, libraries, museums ... and received the support of the Ministry of Culture, DRAC Ile de France, Centre National du Livre; Ville de Paris; Academy of Paris; Conseil General of Hauts de Seine; F.A.S.I.L.D. ; Prefecture Paris-Politique de la Ville; Direction Regional of Jeunesse et Sports; several Portuguese Institutions; Cultural Embassies of France services abroad (Portugal, Tunisia ...); several foundations under the aegis of Fondation de France; "aide à la creation" of the Conseil General of Val de Marne ...
